The original Busters restaurant was built back in the 80’s. It passed several owners over the years until 1994 when Kevin and Karen Welniak purchased it. Busters Family Restaurant was one of the premier restaurants in the area attracting tourists and locals with their mouthwatering barbecue and famous lumberjack portions. Karen and Kevin ran Busters until 2000 when they decided to follow the family history in the tourist camp business. As the years passed and after several new owners the restaurant finally closed.

Then in 2007 Kevin and Karen’s son, Stosh and his wife Natalie purchased the property and re-opened the restaurant as Busters Barbeque. Kevin passed down his recipes for his famous Award-Winning ribs and sauces and under his supervision the three perfected the art of smoking and grilling to perfection.

Busters Barbeque now offers a full menu of great Southern style barbecue with a Canadian flair. They are fully licensed and operational for lunch and dinner so stop by for Award-Winning barbecue are friendly atmosphere and a dining experience you won't soon forget.
